路 / 像 / 路 / 像　ROZOU PROJECT

Street photography exhibition on the street based in Tokyo. To share the image of the street photography with peoples on the street, especially who are not so interested in 'Photography', but who could be a photogenic subject mostly in 'Street photography', makes the existing/closed relationship between the photographer and the existing viewer to be opened. Hopefully this project changes the recent withering situation of the street photography that most people misunderstands of the image right in Japan. Since 2018.8.

Now ROZOU has been expanding to the world. ROZOU empathizers had started their own ROZOU activities as below.

路上写真展。路上で撮影した写真を路上に投影するプロジェクト。スナップ写真の主な被写体である路上の人に直接アクセスしイメージを還元することにより、撮影者と限られた鑑賞者とのプリントや印刷を通したクローズドな関係性が写真に興味のない人へひらかれていく。「公共の場における肖像権」という裏付けのない思い込みや拡大解釈される迷惑行為防止条例などに委縮するスナップ写真の現状に対する問題提起として機能することを願う。（2018年8月～）
